UPDATE: After a couple of hot and humid days when I picked up the box, the mat was a little stuck to the hardwood floor and the underside of the mat was actually torn/torn in one place (I think where it got stuck). I'll try it now with a thin cotton mat, where the heavy box is actually BELOW the non-slip one, to see if that prevents the sticking problem. I will update the review and return the matte filler if not. REVIEW: I have hardwood floors so the bedding will fit anywhere without this rug. I also have very large boxes that I have to keep 1/2 full because if I don't, the junk will stick to the bottom like cement (how do people manage to fill only 1/2 inch?). So much rubbish everywhere. This mat solves that problem. I saw that some people were unhappy that the rug arrived folded (how else could they ship it?). So I just hung it over the hallway railing to get the creases out and also to get rid of the synthetic smell (I do this with every synthetic I buy) before bringing it indoors for at least a week. Works perfectly! I wouldn't expect it to be waterproof, so talk to the sages if you need it (put something underneath I think). Very satisfied.
