The first shower head we bought had a really cheap plastic hose that we didn't like, so we returned it and got this one. I was surprised by how hard it was to find a shower head with a metal hose that wasn't crazy expensive. This shower head isn't completely metal - the head itself is plastic, but I don't really mind that. I just wanted a nice quality hose that was flexible. The various spray settings all work fine, but we honestly don't use them much. I pretty much stick to one setting. The head is pretty big (not heavy and clunky, but a large diameter), which is kind of nice. It was pretty simple to install. They sent an extra flow restrictor which had me confused for a while while I was installing it, but once I figured out that it was just extra and I wasn't supposed to put it anywhere, it was easy.
