Oops. They really shouldn't be sold without one of these cut resistant gloves. On the second use I literally cut off the tip of my right middle finger and scraped off a few millimeters of the nail and pad requiring me to go to the emergency room to stop the bleeding. It was all my fault because I cut the apple and it didn't fit under the guard. This isn't Slice It's fault, it's a problem across the entire product line. This works great, but you can't get all the food you want to cut under guard. The adjustable feature doesn't work very well either, as the pressure you have to apply tends to push the guard all the way down.
