I bought this trimmer based on the reviews and all the attachments that came with it. The device is fairly quiet and smooth, and it has a decent finish. I think about half of the investment is not needed. He basically has a bunch of guards that you get with clippers. I don't like the razor head, I think it was made for body shaving not face because it's so big you can't do precise work with it. It has a battery indicator, but battery life isn't usually an issue for me. I think it's ok for the price but I like my old Phillips trimmer better but it's worn out after 13 years.
