Anyone who has lowered their truck knows Belltech products, from kits to parts. These shocks are a modern take on the previous Nitro Drop that appeared to have some design flaws. They more than made up for that with the Nitro Drop 2. Compared to other lowering dampers, Belltech got it right. It's not the stiffest damper on the market, which is great for those who want a relatively plush ride. They can be used for standard height cars or reduced to 3 inches, which is a pretty impressive range for a shock. I lowered my 1999 Dodge Dakota V6 with these shocks and the ride was still great. Significant improvement in handling. WARNING: If lowering the truck more than 2 inches, replace the fenders with shorter ones. The suspension will not work if you ride on a frame.
