Review on ๐Ÿšด MAXXIS High Roller II 3C EXO Foldable Tire by James Brault

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great tyre, big fan of the original High Rollers

UPDATE: 10-09 Have been riding these tires since my first review. The grips are almost worn out, but the sticky compound is quick and still hooks. Side handles were always a problem because they snapped. Usually use CA glue (available at craft stores) or superglue if you prefer. I used silicone spray from time to time to keep the rubber soft. I love these tires the most. They wear out a bit quickly in rocky terrain, but we're clay kings in the Northwest, so it's no big deal. After many trips on granite, the side handles are almost done. . No problem riding on clay soil and still hitting ledges with authority. Still a Maxxis fan, but this winter I'm using the Schwalbe Magic Mary up front in the wet Northwest. Great tire, big fan of the original High Roller. In comparison, they feel quicker and livelier than the originals in dry, fast sections. I've been berming the Whistler style for the last few weeks, the leaning was different until you get used to leaning a little later/deeper and digging harder. These tires are rails!
