2011 Silverado 2500
Before installing, I connected the drives to make sure they worked. After I plugged it in and got power. The drives have unlocked and locked themselves. I disconnected the brown and white wire from the mane drive and everything worked fine. I have an extended cabin so it was a lot easier just I had to do both doors. A 4-door might need extra wiring, but Walmart sells wiring cheap.
