. I like that it can charge individual batteries and that each has its own indicator. I also like that it uses USB so you don't get stuck if you don't have an outlet to plug into. You want as many charging options as possible during a power outage. I'm assuming the batteries that come with it work fine, but I haven't used them yet. I can tell you they came pre-charged - I put them in a battery tester. Let's assume all is well if I don't update this review in the future. I have a small issue: the lights for all slots stay on as long as the charger is plugged in, regardless of whether there is a battery in that particular slot or not. , the reason is that the color of the indicator tells you if the slot is working properly and if it can charge the battery. Not sure if it would bother me at all if the light wasn't that bright as it might help you troubleshoot if something is wrong with the battery or charger. It's not a deal breaker for me and it doesn't bother me enough to dock the stars.
