I can't believe how many good reviews this thing has gotten. It falls apart when I try to grate the cheese. Literally falls apart. I'm an intelligent woman so I'm pretty sure I put it together correctly. Everything matched. The suction works, but only for about five minutes at a time. Everything would be fine if it worked as it should. It takes a long time to put it back together because I lose myself. The problem is that the plastic isn't strong enough to grate the cheese. Plastic parts cannot withstand any resistance. I tried cold parmesan first and then room temperature parmesan. Both temperature and hardness caused the grip to fly off. I'm sending it back.
