Good news: If this shift pin cover actually fits and stays in place, it might look better than the black OEM rubber cover. And on some bikes, it can lengthen the footrest a bit, which makes shifting easier. Bad news: The set screw is poorly designed for a number of reasons. The tiny hex fastener requires a rare size hex wrench, available in multiple sets. And it takes very little to actually secure the cover to the shifter pin, no matter how tight you screw it on. Another bad news: If the shaft on the shifter pin isn't the same size as the inside of the cap, it's loose. If the fit is too tight, the rubber insert will deform and stay off-center in the frame grooves. Worst news: This one ripped shortly after installation so I put the old OEM rubber bushing back on and returned the overpriced, poorly designed Kuryakyn cap for a refund.
