Not recommended for stand

Difficult to install on my Suzuki C50, still gets dirty like the original rubber derailleur. waste of money. Buy something else for your bike.

The perfect size for the Kawasaki Vulcan LT 900 2019!

Perfect size for 2019 Kawasaki Vulcan LT 900! Cut off old rubber, apply superglue to the metal. Use a little "umph" to get it around the outside edge. Only 15 minutes for installation!

Pros
  • Great fit for me
Cons
  • Some trouble

Not worth a dime. on Motorcycle & Powersports

I love the Kuryakyn products but this pivot cover is worthless with the included hex bolt. tighten on the shaft. Very disappointed in Kuryakin for using what they should know is just an unnecessary adjustment screw.

Pros
  • Fits a lot
Cons
  • Can't remember

cost and appearance. - Motorcycle & Powersports

Sharp Appearance. The hardest part was pulling out the rubber inserts at the end. You have to use some kind of tool. I used an offset puller. And be careful not to stab yourself in the arm. The side without the set screw is the hardest. It looks great and, above all, it hasn't become softer on my boots. I also bought a matching brake pin cap to maintain continuity.

Pros
  • Beautiful Packaging
Cons
  • Sad Gear

Stylish and comfortable Fits on stand

Kuryakyn 8851 Metric Bike Round Pegs Covers This little piece adds extra style and comfort to my Vulcan. The stock shifter pin cover on my bike has shown wear and life in the Mojave Desert, the rubber has some wear. The biggest challenge was removing the stock rubber cover from the shifter. Tip: Take a small screwdriver, stick it under the rubber cover, and "run" it around the stylus as you remove it. After the old cover has been removed, the device is put on. Two small hex head screws are used

Good news and bad news - mostly bad

Good news: If this shift pin cover actually fits and stays in place, it might look better than the black OEM rubber cover. And on some bikes, it can lengthen the footrest a bit, which makes shifting easier. Bad news: The set screw is poorly designed for a number of reasons. The tiny hex fastener requires a rare size hex wrench, available in multiple sets. And it takes very little to actually secure the cover to the shifter pin, no matter how tight you screw it on. Another bad news: If the shaft

Cheap plastic best in accessories

I ordered this for my Suzuki M109r - first impressions were that it looks good and matches my footpegs. I opened it up, went into the garage and ran into a couple of problems - 1. - it just doesn't fit the shifter pin properly. The pen is too big with the barrel cover still on and too small with the rubber barrel cover removed. I read online that you can glue the bare bar to make the lid fit, so I did that and put the lid on. He felt comfortable and safe. 2nd - With the cap on you need to…

Don't worry if it doesn't fit perfectly

Fits perfectly with all my Kury Iso pens and pens. Not ideal for 2003 Suzuki Intruder Volusia. But there is a workaround. What you can do is cut the rubber off the derailleur and then reassemble it with the bike tube. Cut inner tube, lay out and cut to width, rinse off talcum powder and dry. Coat one side with an industrial grade rubber adhesive like Pliobond. Wait for a slight stickiness. Be sure to clean the lever of adhesive residue and degrease it. Coat the metal switch with Pliiobond and…

  • There's something to it

  • Minor issues

Kuryakyn Shift Peg Covers

I'm a bit tired of buying Kuryakyn products that either don't fit or break during installation. I bought this case for my 2010 Yamaha Raider. Although the Revain ad says it's a Raider, the box doesn't show the Raider, Stratoliner, or Roadliner as advertised. I read the instructions and tried to install anyway. After putting this thing on the bare switch pin, I tried tightening the tiny set screw that is supposed to keep the cover from moving over the pin, and guess what? The metal cage that…
