I bought a Samodra bidet which was a self cleaning button design with a metal/ceramic core. It was easy to install and worked great so I decided to buy another bidet for my second bathroom. Since the first Samodra bidet worked as advertised I decided to buy the same brand and get an updated version that worked with a twist handle instead of a guest bathroom knob as it was smaller and less noticeable. I reviewed the Samodra bidet which had an internal brass valve and brass water inlet with a metal tee because it turned out to be very well constructed with metal parts. I changed my mind when I saw that the previous two supplements noted that there was a newer model so I ordered the advertised newer model from Samodra thinking it was also an improved Mosel. BIG MISTAKE! I was very surprised because it turned out to be a cheaper version of other Samodra bidets. I decided to install anyway because I saw how well this version works. When I installed it, I found that the only metal parts were the T-valve. The collars mounted under the toilet seat were cut off so they didn't form a full circle, in what appeared to be an attempt to save money but made the construction look cheaper. I was able to install the bidet with no problems. Because the adjustment rings were shaped differently, I found the assembly moved about 1/4" after being tightened to the maximum. The control handle was also articulated and quite flimsy compared to the first bidet I installed. Am most disappointing was that when running, the male and female jets seemed to be reversed and even when adjusted didn't seem to be properly aligned.Since we were going to order a half-bath bidet we decided it wasn't worth returning the unit to.I was very disappointed and will not order another Samodra bidet.
