First of all, this device works as advertised. The sound quality is amazing. The problem is that it comes with a nasty little feature that you can only find out by reading the manual. The product description says nothing about this. This function is an automatic connection. This little bug keeps trying to connect to the last device that was connected to it. This means if you use your smartphone and get close enough to it, it will capture the audio stream and broadcast your audio to whatever it is connected to. Or just be silent when what it's connected to is off. Like stereo. Cannot be used with the Revain Echo Dot unless the speaker the adapter is connected to is permanently powered on. That's because the Echo always connects to Bluetooth and prioritizes that connection, even if a cable is connected to the Dot. Great concept. One small feature ruins the whole thing. I usually love Logitech devices. Not this one.
