I bought this based on the reviews. I adjusted it and it's definitely a nice bright image. Everything was great until I realized that the picture showing the mounting options is literal. The bottom of the screen is strictly horizontal to the top of the table on which the projector is installed. The manual is very clear: do not use the projector in any position other than a table or ceiling mount. The projector must be level and not tilted forward/backward or left/right. Any other orientation will void the warranty and may shorten the life of the projector lamp or the projector itself. For a custom installation please contact Optoma. For us to get 120 inches, the project needs to be 13 feet from the screen, which is fine except there's a sofa in front of it. We cannot install a ceiling and that means NOBODY can sit on the couch in front of the projector. I'm used to projector throw center so you can raise the projector to any height you want. Not this one. The only other option for placing the project is a couch in front of the projector, which means a much smaller projection. In my opinion, this is a serious design flaw. I was tempted to send it back.
