After wearing this shoe for about 2 years I fell in love with this shoe. So much so that I wouldn't buy any other brand now. I think the quality of this shoe is higher than other brands like Allen Edmonds. I have multiple AEs and the difference between Mephisto and AE is huge (Mephisto is much more premium). These shoes are very durable. The soles are new after hundreds of hours in these shoes. The skin looks like new. The color is deep and beautiful. The quality of the leather is very high. I love these shoes. Sizes run a little big, so go down a half size. My original review was wrong; I am on the mend. Old review: Wrong size and very bad way. It's not just about the size of your foot. All dimensions of the latter are strange. In addition, the sole is very soft, which increases movement and friction around the foot. People think it's more comfortable because the sole is soft, but it creates poor grip and overall shoe. Compare that to leather soles, which don't cushion at all but actually work great. The size is totally wrong and strange. It's not even about the size of your feet. The last one is just weird. Bad experience.
