👞 Premium Quality Mephisto Men's Melchior Captoe Oxford: Timeless Style & Unmatched Comfort Review

Excellent shoes of a very high quality. They're expensive, but you can see, feel and smell (leather smells great) why they're so expensive.

I was looking for a Gaetan model that is no longer made and this shoe is a replacement. It's just as comfortable and although the other style looks just as good. Very happy with Mephisto. I will not buy any other brand again.

Stylish and very comfortable. This is exactly what I would expect from any pair of Mephisto shoes. They fit as expected. However, I knew from previous purchases of Mephisto Match shoes that I wear an 11 on Mephisto instead of the 11.5 I usually wear on most other brands.

I used to have Mephisto shoes. Shoes are quality and comfort. I measure 13 and the width is between C and D (Branoock). I ordered size 12.5 and it fits perfectly. Width at the heel is slightly relaxed. Mephisto says it should be so. Her shoes do not have narrow heels. I haven't tried it outside, but in my apartment these shoes are comfortable.

That's the most I've ever spent on a pair of shoes, but it's worth every penny. In my case, I almost always have a size 8.5, but 8.5 was too big, 8 was perfect. I ordered both sizes and returned 8.5. Once I got the right size, everything else was pure bliss. I love the Melchiors style, love the combination of texture and smoothness, the quality is superb and it feels like I'm wearing sneakers.

After wearing this shoe for about 2 years I fell in love with this shoe. So much so that I wouldn't buy any other brand now. I think the quality of this shoe is higher than other brands like Allen Edmonds. I have multiple AEs and the difference between Mephisto and AE is huge (Mephisto is much more premium).
