These are excellent small modules for the price. Easily control the speed and direction of two DC motors or parallel outputs for more power. The only issue I had was the poor quality control of the heatsink attachment. There was a significant gap between the heatsink and the thermal insert. There's also no thermal paste or thermal pad between the heatsink and the tongue. This caused the part to overheat at only 30% of the rated load. Luckily, the solution was to simply tighten the screw until the tab was pressed firmly against the heatsink. All the modules I bought had a smaller gap, each slightly different, indicating poor process control. Also, I recommend squirting a small amount of thermal paste into the gap before tightening the screw. This significantly improves the thermal conductivity of the radiator. Without these issues I would have rated it 5 stars.
