I've tried literally 5 sets of chairs. from swivel chairs to stationary chairs, to backless wooden chairs and then to large upholstered swivel chairs. I wanted something as tall as a counter but not too wide so I could fit 4 chairs behind my counter. I learned the lesson the hard way, so this time I started by ordering ONE stool. instead of all 4. I didn't dare to ask my husband to get another stool! It was surprisingly easy to put together with just an Allen key (which was included). Took me about 15 minutes. The height is perfect. The seat turns very comfortably, the seat is soft and not too wide! Should defiantly be able to fit 3 more stools around my counter!
