I broke my ring finger 2 weeks ago. I've been using this product for a week now and it works well. It's much more practical and comfortable than the bandages and tapes I used the first week. It's also nice to be able to put the item on and off to wash your hands properly. The item appears to be holding up well with use and washing. I recommend buying at least 2 so you can flip through them. The small Velcro has sharp corners that can scratch or snag on objects. Be careful with dry-fit sportswear. Update after 3 weeks of use from 05/11/13: The original product is holding up well and I bought a second one so I always washed and dried it. Make sure you order the right size so you have a nice, supportive, and snug fit for your injured finger. The neoprene sleeve works very well and sometimes I wear it without a strap on my buddy finger.
