This is exactly what I needed and more than what I needed. I wanted to take bottled water with me on a hike but couldn't put it back in the bag. Water blisters have always bothered me because my backpack leaked or I never knew how much I was really drinking. This adapter solved both problems. A bonus for me was how easy it is to clean it after each use. After all parts are removed I run hot soapy water through a hose, then attach it to my fridge with the magnetic part and let dry on a kitchen towel until completely air dry. I never felt like my water bladder was really clean, so I bought a new one every season simply because I felt the other one was polluted with invisible bacteria. I may have done something wrong before, but this helps get rid of that fear completely. My husband and my best friend are already planning to buy it because they are very happy with me!
