I have a utility trailer that I tow a full size Bronco. I use it a lot, but the high tailgate and rear-mounted spare wheel obstruct the trailer's view. I wanted to be able to easily move the camera: first so I could see the hitch, and then move the camera (attached with a small magnet) higher on the tailgate for reversing. Also, I wanted to control the camera manually instead of being powered by a backup light source. This cable assembly has proven its worth for simple plug connections and the built-in switch is a nice extra.
