This was triggered to show status updates for the remote home assistant. It's basically a regular non-touch IPS monitor configured with a Raspberry Pi 4. It was easy to put together, including adding a camera. The only downsides are the occasional fan bounce that requires fine tuning of the fan backplate (see video), the power supply that sticks out on the side - so if you want to hang/wall mount it you'll have to deal with that. and there is no easy way to replace SD card image files. This requires you to separate the Pi from the case (unless you really know how to use needle nose pliers!). For $100 this is exactly what you need. If they added a touchscreen to this screen, that would be great!
