Review on Fotodiox Pro ND32 Filter For WonderPana 145 & 66 Systems: Perfectly Enhancing Your Photos With 5-Stop Neutral Density by Bill Wasson

SRS Phot Guy in my review

I just received Fotodiox Pro1 145mm circular ND 32 filter and tested it with the Fotodiox WonderPana 66 FreeArc Kit on a Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8G. The filter itself appears well made and screws onto the kit very nicely. The filter does not appear to produce any unnatural color cast. I tested the filter for vignetting from 14-16mm and with focus set to the minimum distance, the circular filter does cause vignetting. At 2.5 feet the vignetting is greatly diminished and I found using the lens profile in Lightroom 5 eliminated it at 2.5 feet or greater. Near infinity there is no vignetting. With f-stops of 2.8 to 8, there didn't seem to be any difference in the amount of vignetting. The focus scale on this lens jumps from 2.5ft to infinity very quickly. Even at a distance of 10ft the scale is close to the infinity symbol. When I focused at 25 feet the vignetting is almost gone. So for my own personal landscape photography purposes, I don't expect this to be a problem. NOTE: this review only applies to the FreeArc for the Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8G.As a side note, I was surprised to find that even with a five stop ND installed, my D800e was able to accurately perform auto focus.
