Many Eva devices connected throughout the house. I've never had any problems connecting them. But I have a problem connecting this device. I thought it was a bad unit. So I returned it and ordered a second one. Same problem. I connected the device to a power source and then went to the Eve app to add this accessory. The app saw the device but it took a long time to continue working on it and finally the app reported that it couldn't add the accessory. I have an iPhone next to the unit and they are next to a WiFi router and Homekit host (Apple TV). I tried to reset the device but it won't reset like the first device I received back. I won't be ordering again until I see other people have good luck solving this problem or have a good batch of devices. All other Eve devices I have are good, except for one Eve Bluetooth window sensor, which often fails to detect. So I think a bluetooth extender will solve this problem. Update September 25th: I have Google Wifi. Maybe this is a problem as other users are having similar problems. I hope Eva thinks about it.
