This was a real disappointment. I've read many good reviews about the CA-3908 speakers. There were also some bad reviews stating that after about 2 years the speakers started to sound "rattling" or "robbery" or that an electrical component had failed. So I bought the speakers along with the 5 year warranty and figured I was fine. Well, right out of the box I plugged them in and they sounded like crap. I wouldn't say there's anything wrong with the volume, but the RMS didn't make it to the speakers. Simply put, there could be a large rock in the subwoofer. The weight of the subwoofer did not reflect the performance of the speaker. Any of these two issues would make me return them, but the worst part was that the sound was full of noise, as if the circuitry hadn't been put together properly. I decided to upgrade to higher quality (and more expensive) speakers, but I have no doubt that there are much better speakers out there in this price range.
