Logi Case Review Having recently finally upgraded my iPad Pro (1st gen), I was trying to decide which case and keyboard combo to use. I have used the previous version of the Logi case and keyboard combo for the last 5 years and love it. Since this previous model worked great until the end (some buttons stopped working), I decided to try the latest version of Logi for the latest iPad Pro. After checking out the Apple Magic Keyboard that I originally wanted, I found that it lacks the various function keys that Logi offers and it costs about three times as much! After a bad experience with the Apple keyboard and case offered for the 1st gen iPad Pro, I decided it wasn't. Worth the risk and spend the extra money on the Magic Keyboard if it doesn't meet my needs and expectations like Logi. After several weeks of using the new case and keyboard combo, here's what I found. On the outside, the case has a nice matte finish that's comfortable to hold and easy to clean, and doesn't attract or hold hair or dirt like the previous version* The corners and edges that hold the iPad are made of a semi-flexible material. The previous version used hard plastic that can tear or break* The keyboard is backlit like the previous version (not found in competing products)* Has a nice magnetic closure loop that doubles as a pen holder* The case stays in place when put down into keyboard mode* The keyboard feels comfortable, a good keyboard should *Found the battery last about 1-2 weeks on a full charge if you're a heavy user like I amCon * Logi should provide an app that you use to set As long as the key backlight stays on, it quickly dims for a few seconds after you stop typing, which is tedious when working in the dark. An alternative is to use bright paint on the keys so they're easy to read until the light comes on. Logi + Keyboard Case for iPad Pro and am looking forward to it working the same as my previous one. Oh, and if you find sellers only listing the Gen3 version, don't worry, it will fit Gen4 models. I took this chance when the item listed as Gen3/Gen4 was sold out and unavailable and only the Gen3 variant was being shown.
