This tool is easy to use and I have successfully threaded a set of spokes with no waste. You will need a jig to hold the tool and oil to attach the pulley and spokes to the threads. The mark on the shaft shows how far you have screwed the spoke in when turning the handle. A simple but nice feature. The instructions were also detailed and helpful. Grinding the spokes if you had to cut them is key. My only minor complaint is that for what it is it 'seems' like it should cost less. Is this a sub $4,000 spoked machine and does it work? Yes. I'm just talking
