Last time we had a tier 1 brand. Couldn't find this one again so I looked and read reviews of other brands but can't find any cons although there are fewer has reviews but the price is the lowest. My LG LFX25974st model is not listed in the description. So I dared. Arrived in 2 days with my flowering time. Easy installation and viola, we have a new filter! Let's see how the water tastes in a month. Overall it doesn't seem any different from other OEMs we've had. Someone mentioned a new filter date - installing a new filter will NOT automatically reset the new filter change date on your fridge panel (I don't think we have smart fridges anymore?). You must program manually (press button on refrigerator) to enter a new date. I set it to 6 months so my fridge will ping (or flash) me on the control panel when the filter is 6 months old. This product also comes with replacement date stickers on the filter itself.
