Hubby replaced it in the simplest of ways, but my fridge (LG) display doesn't show the month/date of the next replacement. I'm not sure if other people have experienced the same thing or if there is a fix or something. Maybe because"compatible with the main brand"? Anyway, we don't mind and what really matters is that we get clean water! =

I was a little hesitant to order an aftermarket filter for my fridge instead of an official LG replacement filter, but I didn't have to worry. These three filter packs cost less than an LG filter and work great. I just installed it and after a few minutes of rinsing (like filling the bottle with water a few times) everything is fine. The water is clear and tastes fantastic. I highly recommend it.

Excellent value for money. I didn't see my LG LSC27914SB fridge in the compatible models list, but the filter looked almost identical, so I tried it out and was glad it fitted perfectly. I don't like to buy expensive branded filters and I'm always looking for the cheapest filter. My main reason is that I don't know if any of these filters actually filter out all the Cryptospermatous Sporidia crap they claim. How can you know?
