I've been using this TT600 flash for about a week now and am happy with how the controls work and how my Canon EOS 7D camera works. However, I would like it to be more durable. I had a countertop with thick, soft carpet in our living room. The table is 27.5 inches high. A work stand was fitted to the TT600 so it could stand on a table behind the diffuser panel. I had also used a wide panel on the flash. Well I managed to kick it off the table and it landed with a soft thump. The light seemed fine and kept blinking on command, no problem. However, when I removed everything, I saw that the wide plate had broken off from the light. As it turns out, it has tiny plastic tabs on each side that act as hinges for the panel, allowing you to rotate it in and out of position. Well, one of those tiny tabs broke. So the plate cannot be reattached now. which also makes using highlights very difficult, if not impossible. The flash still works, but sadly for me those features are lost. It's better than that he held. And seeing the tiny bit of plastic holding it together was disappointing too.
