Forget TTL, it's useless. Save money and get this flash

I chose this flash because I bought a Godox system. Forget TTL, it's useless. Save money and get this flash. Works PERFECTLY with Godox Xpro Trigger. The Xpro trigger allows you to control the intensity of the flash, which is why I bought it. The build quality is much better than other cheap copy flashes like Neewer or Yongnuo. Has the brightest flash of any flash until you get into expensive territory like the AD200 or studio flashes.

Has stopped working after 6 months and has hardly been used

I use a lot of Godox strobes in real estate and architectural photography and for the most part I'm very happy with their performance. I have two GODOX TT600 flashbulbs that are of very little use; This will turn on and interact with the GODOX XProS trigger like day one, but will not fire. The back screen lights up, the Flash TEST button lights up, but when you press TEST nothing happens. I have sent several emails to GODOX to see if there is anything I could do on my end but received no…

Very good for the price

She is my photo assistant, a mannequin that I use when setting up the light. Both photos were taken with Godox TT600 flashes mounted in two 24-inch octagonal softboxes. I'm very happy with the results I'm getting with it and have already ordered two more TT600's. I am using Godox X2TC. The transmitter on my Canon 77D camera to control it. The setup and good performance of these flashes and understanding how to get them working with the X2Tc is my only reason for the 4 star "Beginner" rating…

Excellent performance though

I'm very picky about my camera gear. I have 5 of these and they are used weekly in harsh environments where they get thrown in the trunk during quick seat changes, fog, hot humid days, cold snowy weather, light rain etc. I haven't had any of these yet. let them let me down! I've been using them for many months. I use them along with Eneloop batteries and often they last an entire session without changing batteries. Excellent performance, but every once in a while I'll get a shot where the color

Flash is a great alternative

This flash is a great alternative to the manufacturer's flash at an EXCESS PRICE. Charge times are decent with standard AA alkaline batteries. English in the instructions is decent. I just wanted them to use standard battery terms - it took me a while to figure out that LR6 batteries stood for AA batteries before I bought them. Anyway, I found this and then found some YouTube photographers recommending these Godox flashes for those starting on a budget (like me). They would have given 5 stars…

Pleasantly Surprised

I wasn't expecting much for over $60 even after reading many reviews here but I was pleasantly surprised when I started using this flash. I shoot in manual mode with flash, so this model suited me. The attached photo is with a 26" octabox and was taken at around 1/8 power I think (flash was used for fills and highlights). The power is enough for street pouring and works great in modifiers. It's hot when you're shooting in quick succession, and the flash can momentarily stop firing. I took about

Good flash but wish it was more durable

I've been using this TT600 flash for about a week now and am happy with how the controls work and how my Canon EOS 7D camera works. However, I would like it to be more durable. I had a countertop with thick, soft carpet in our living room. The table is 27.5 inches high. A work stand was fitted to the TT600 so it could stand on a table behind the diffuser panel. I had also used a wide panel on the flash. Well I managed to kick it off the table and it landed with a soft thump. The light seemed…

Powerful. REALLY powerful

It's actually VERY POWERFUL and actually works pretty well DURING the day. If you know how to use light and now increase your ISO to ISO 50, you can take very effective shots. My batteries are 2400 mAh. They lasted FOREVER. I post 1/1 full clap. Let me just say that you can get professional recordings without the need for a super expensive 'studio light' as they call it. Flash works well at 9-10 for what you need unless you need 500 watts of power in the studio. Now next comes actual…

Hard to beat for the price

If you're looking for a good system to buy I think you're going to have a hard time getting past Godox strobes and flashes. I have a few other Godox/Flashpoint lights and am about to order a second TT600 to complement my portrait setup with three off-camera lights (now two of these and an AD200). Using one of the X1T controllers, or even another Godox flash with a built in commander (I used my little one), you could do pretty much anything you want with enough of these TT600s. The fact that…
