Review on 🌡️ CDN 12-Inch Silver IRL500 Long Stem Fry Thermometer by Marfel Fekete

This review is for the CDN IRL500 InstaRead Long Stem Roast Turkey Thermometer. I bought this for the Fry Daddy electric fryer. Didn't read the description carefully enough. The front of the packaging says "for large frying containers". It would be nice if they were a little more descriptive, the stem of this thermometer is 12 inches long! The back of the pack says how to fry a turkey, which I find very interesting but would never do. The rod is exactly 2 inches from its pointed end. Fry Daddy has a recommended fill line of 2 inches. Fry Daddy is also supposed to "keep the fry at the ideal temperature," so I added 2 inches of oil without the thermometer touching the bottom. "Fill line and voila! It went up to 360 degrees and stopped. I've also boiled water in it and the temp was kept at 200 (actual boiling point in degrees Fahrenheit is 212) so I'd say it's working.
