I would give 5 stars if the insert were made twice as long. The insert is too short and if you're hoping your hose won't fit elbow fittings then you're spot on if the shortest end of your hose is 6 inches or less. Also, soak the insert in pure olive oil before inserting it into the tube. hose and heat the hose. This hose compresses the liner, no greasing, and you can't pull the liner out! I tried spraying oil but it contained water and fogged up inside the hose. Pure olive oil has 0% water, so no fogging. You can also use a pencil to mark where the tubes are bent on the insert. Just erase the mark with a pencil. I haven't had any trouble cutting PETG like other people. I have found that you can accidentally make a mistake and insert the tube into the cutter incorrectly. People must have had problems with that. Also, a 90 degree mandrel is not 90 degrees. I had to adjust the angle by gently pressing on the corner due to the flexibility of the Petg.
