What is your pet peeve for tension rods? Mine is that they slowly creep down over time or you can not get them level from side to side. These are great tension rods as they have a strong hold, without marking the walls and they look great. I have old casement windows and I do not want to screw anything into the walls or frames around the windows. I also love the look of the panes and at times want to remove the window treatments. These rods provide a great way to have privacy and light filtering when I need it, but can easily be removed if I prefer the look of bare windows. I have the bronze finish, which works well with my painted white windows and my leaded glass windows.
