I have some old Hitachi models (steel/all aluminum) and they still work great with no problems. I just wanted to get new ones just in case. They arrive with goggles in his suitcase. *My opinion as someone who works with his tools every day and drags them through hell. The case feels very light and cheap, but it still gets the job done. The nail guns themselves shocked me, I only used the old heavy models so these new ones are alien to me. !ALL body and tip are plastic! They are super light. So I think if you want to use them you have to show them you care or they will break. This is quite a challenge for me as I fit doors/trim/baseboards every day and certainly won't be able to put them to the test like my old ones. But if you're just using them for chores, they should work great if you take good care of them.
