I recently installed and plugged in a spotlight next to an outside socket instead of hiring an electrician to install the switch. With this setup, I had to plug and unplug it whenever I wanted to turn it on or off. I saw this and thought it would be the perfect solution to my problem. This worked as expected and I can now turn the spotlight on and off by asking Alexa to do it. Installation was easy; I connected it, installed the Geeni app and followed the instructions. I then went to the Alexa app and named it "Floodlight" and now it works great. It has two plugins that work independently. I currently only use one, but the second is a great option. Hope it holds up over time. I'll update the review if that doesn't happen sooner.
