Review on 🧹 The Original California Car Duster 20014 11-inch Dry Blade with Varying Color Options by Jesse Blair

Not perfect of course, but it works great

We have pretty hard water so we want to dry the car thoroughly after washing. I no longer use suede and only use industrial towels - they're great for a typically waxed car. But before that, half a dozen towels went away - there really is quite a lot of water on a wet car! I bought it because I've found that an old wiper handles heavy water just fine, but it's dangerous. metal parts! It has a double-sided silicone blade and a hard plastic (thermoplastic) handle. It does not damage the paint and washes off large amounts of water very quickly. When in use: I keep the car wet until the end of the wash, ie wet the whole machine, rinse the area until I'm done. Then I brush thick water off a fairly large area, like the hood and front fenders, follow with a towel and move on. The "blade" creaks a bit (after all, it's made of silicone and is a bit rubbery even when wet), but it works well, fast, confidently, with a lot of momentum. And for a really quick wash, I don't even use a towel; simply remove large drops with a blade. After washing, it takes less than a minute. good tool.

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • No paint needed
