Fur, It Works: Tools and Equipment

I have mixed feelings about this item. It works out. On flat surfaces, this is a great way to remove most of the water. In areas with trim and curves, this is much slower than using a towel. I usually use it to shed most of the water and then come back with a towel. I suppose this could save me from having an extra towel or two in the laundry room after washing my car.

Non original detailing tool

I thought I had lost my 'original' CA water meter and am glad I found it. This is smaller, harder to hold and stiffer than the original. It's not as effective as the original, with a T-profile at the end of the squeegee and a wide blade of the same thickness. It can be put in the car as a travel cleaning kit, but take a genuine original blade with you if you can find one.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Security

Blade OCCD 11 " Dry makes it wet and leaves streaks

I don't like this product. I thought I would get a product with a hard handle. This product is thin and does not remain in contact with the surface , which i try i can use wrong which causes a problem but its not really rocket science to use this product i don't recommend this product to anyone sorry

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • I don't know anymore

Product not working

I have tried several car care products and found that most of them have some value. Dry blade - no. It doesn't slide on the surface of the car. Rather, it sticks, jumps and rumbles into the car without removing much water. It's hard to imagine that this is good for car decoration. I've tried this twice (once each on my 2 machines). Same terrible result both times. Went back to suede and some microfiber towels. Suggest to stay away from this product.

Longtime California Water Blade user, new design is terrible

As the name suggests, I'm a longtime California Water Blade user. about 10 years ago. I have to say this new design is awful! I hate this. I tried it and the blade just jumped up and over the freshly washed car. They got rid of the famous T-blade design and went on to what I call the "kitchen knife" design. I have no idea why they got rid of their famous T-Blade, but they did. I have emailed the company but have not yet received a response from them. I tried it once and then sent it back toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Not perfect of course, but it works great

We have pretty hard water so we want to dry the car thoroughly after washing. I no longer use suede and only use industrial towels - they're great for a typically waxed car. But before that, half a dozen towels went away - there really is quite a lot of water on a wet car! I bought it because I've found that an old wiper handles heavy water just fine, but it's dangerous. metal parts! It has a double-sided silicone blade and a hard plastic (thermoplastic) handle. It does not damage the paint and

Pros
  • Nice thing

  • No paint needed
