I am a caregiver and needed an easy way to control my mother's paralyzed hand while moving between the bed, wheelchair and toilet. Most bandages I've seen have been specially adapted for this purpose, as they were intended to immobilize a broken arm or shoulder. The SupreGear armrest is a long piece of soft material that can be configured in a variety of ways and attached with Velcro. This is great for controlling and supporting a weak hand while sleeping or moving. It is effective, convenient, easy to use and very inexpensive. I highly recommend it.
