I bought this helmet for my 2 year old who has a head in the 50th percentile. I realized that for the most part, an infant is what you would call a child up to about a year of age, and a two-year-old is just a "baby". This is not the case with helmets. The helmet looks good and seems comfortable. It is easy, which is important for the child. My son's head is now exactly 19" and the helmet is really too big even though it should fit from 19". I can't make the strap short enough for him and there is a gap around his head at least the size of my thumb. It's too small for his 5 year old older brother (as I expected) so I'd say it's best suited for a 2.5 to 4 year old. We will buy a "baby" helmet for a two year old and save it for next year.
