Review on 🐠 Uniclife 3400 GPH Controllable Wavemaker: Enhance Marine and Freshwater Aquarium Circulation with W-40 Controller and Magnet Mount by Allison Acosta

First I give 4*+-1* due to the size of the gap in the wheel housing. The distance is very long and I lost my part of the cattle because the powerhead has such a long distance in the guards. On the plus side, this shaft generator does more than you would expect from a shaft generator at this price point. it moves a lot of water, and I'll say it again, it moves a lot of water. It is not intended for a small tank. This is a 300 gallon tank and moves water throughout the tank. I installed it about 8 inches from the water surface at a 30 degree angle to the surface. The different modes work very well. Feed mode works fine. It turns off for 10 minutes so you don't blow all the food down the return and it turns on right away with no issues. Night mode works very well and reduces performance by up to 30%. All in all if they made the impeller protection a lot smarter like some of the more expensive units it would be a 5 star shaft generator. I have 2 and am wondering if I really need to put them both in one tank now as this is a fish only tank. Once I start introducing the corals and they reach a certain size I will definitely need all the exercise I can handle. I recently completely overhauled the aquarium's aquascaping and removed all substrate from the bottom including all 30 gallons of crushed coral and sand to make it a bare bottomed tank expecting to have to move a lot of water around the coral to help. This wavemaker will surely be able to get the job done.
