I have three of these chargers, last time I bought the base unit it was broken, brand new, and the LEDs just keep flashing. I would give the original two devices 5 stars, they charge great and give you over 12 hours of playtime on each battery. The new division needs better control. Since I always needed extra batteries for additional controllers, I did not return the charging station. However it is very disappointing to have a new defective item in the box which is why I have downgraded the rating to 3 stars. All in all the product is worth it when you get it working and you save a ton of money on AA batteries that you would spend on a standard controller package. I have used many of the batteries for more than 2 years with no problems. Let's see if the new batteries pass quality control. The old ones were great. The kit is worth it as it costs less than two batteries sold separately.
