I'm by no means an artist but I love to paint as it helps me deal with anxiety. I'm always looking for more color variety because I paint a lot of nature scenes and I never run out of different shades of green and brown. This set is simply fantastic. The pens sit firmly in the hand and look quite high-quality. They come in a tin with 3 trays that the pens sit comfortably. The trays are a bit difficult to get out of the tin itself and I had to bend the tin slightly to get them out, but it seems to be coming back. in place as soon as you close them again. I hope this will not damage the glass over time beyond use but for now it suits me. These pens are great! They are very easy to mix, bright and pigmented. I turned to her more than once for my Prismacolor premieres. Although I love my prisms, these pencils color almost as well and don't need sharpening as often. Sharpening is easy with any standard sharpener and I've had no issues with the handle breaking off. The biggest downside for me is that they are not numbered. or named, and the painted ends do not always match the color. I usually hold a piece of paper by my side when coloring so I can double check the color before using it. I would recommend these pens to anyone who enjoys painting or wants to learn new techniques and doesn't want to spend a lot of money. Money in a good size set. Overall, this is a great addition to any crayon lover's collection.
