After years of using 60Hz non-gaming monitors, I finally took a step forward this year. First widescreen Samsung 100Hz, what's the difference! Then tried Lenovo's faster 144Hz widescreen. Garbage. Then I finally turned gold with this 38-inch LG beast. Despite the expensive autofocus, it offered 6 extras on top of the other 34-inch models that made it worthwhile. 1) Big screen (bigger is better) 2) Higher resolution (1440p for short people) 3) Faster Hz (175Hz no problem) 4) G-Sync (to put it bluntly) 5) Active LED ring (great bonus feature) 6) Outstanding Picture quality This is the best monitor I have ever had, money well spent, no regrets. Quake Champions has never looked good and my game has improved. PS Make sure to use a stable monitor arm. I added the wall mount 2 weeks after purchasing the monitor. Where's the difference!
