I wouldn't call this a mask. It's a conditioner and I don't even find it to be a particularly good one, though usually I really like John Frieda products. It's not good for detangling, and for my super long hair it takes a lot to cover it. I only got 5 uses out of one tube!It's yellow and thin, and it smells fruity fresh, with lemon but it is not solely a lemon fragrance. It leaves my hair softer, but not particularly shiny, and while it doesn't weigh it down, it doesn't really do a thing for it.By itself, this doesn't actually lighten, and it really tone down brassiness either.
