Review on T-Shin Full Set Screws Replacement Repair Parts With Bottom Pentalob Screws For Ipad With Compact Protective PP Storage Box (Ipad 5) by Trevor Blazis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I managed to tighten some screws for iPad 3

Before purchasing, I asked about the screws that came with it. In particular, I was looking for some 2.0mm Phillips #0 screws to replace the 2 I sneezed off the table, never to be seen again. My iPad 3 (model A-1416) had four of these tiny screws that are used to hold the LCD in place. I removed it to replace a broken digitizer (screen). Out of desperation I ordered this set of screws anyway, hoping it was the size I needed. There was none. HOWEVER, there were four #1 2.0mm screws (too long but screwed into the hole). If you're in my predicament, the solution is that the #1 2.0mm screws work for all LCD mounting holes EXCEPT the one in the lower right corner. This screw hole is against the frame, so it should be number 0 (the shortest). These screws might work for you even though they say these screws are for iPad 5. I am happy! Thank you T Shin! Pros
  • Note. iPad has several screws, each of which is a different size and length. It is very important to mount all the screws in the correct position and not to mix them up. Using the wrong screws can cause many problems such as: B. no antenna signal and cracks in the LCD or touchscreen glass.
Cons
  • Damaged
