THAT DOES NOT WORK! The tap is not a thread repair tap.
This tap is not working properly. I've spent hours drilling a hole in the engine block to thread and insert coils and all attempts have failed. I was able to drive a larger screw in without thread repair (on a trial basis) and am guessing the tap is not a thread repair tap but a regular tap with re-marking for thread repair size (WARNING BUYER!) broke all the thread repair reels, trying to force them to insert . If the faucet is the wrong size, the coils won't go in.
