I bought these cases for a vacation phone that I took with me. We wanted to stay on the water where we could kayak, swim, etc. so I wanted something that would protect our phones and let us take some cool photos and videos to document our vacation. Before I went on vacation, I tested them in the sink to make sure they floated to the surface. So it was risky, but I took it. Here's the biggest disappointment, the touchscreen works so well that after I got wet it was hanging around my neck when I was kayaking with my dad and I recorded it so I could see it later, but since mine shirt was wet, he recognized my shirt as a "touch" and ended my video before anything happened. So I lost/missed a TON of video and photo opportunities because the recording stopped. I am very disappointed with this so be aware before you buy.
