💨 NETGEAR Nighthawk CM1100: Next-Level Speed Cable Modem for XFINITY, Spectrum, and Cox Networks Review

The modem hardware was installed and registered by Comcast in less than an hour. Great hardware and (unusually) great support from Comcast. Update: After four months, the data transfer rate has halved. The speed increased from 525 Mbit/s to 278 Mbit/s. I replaced it and a Netgear R6700v3 router with a Comcast xfinity gateway. My data rate is 575 Mbit/s again.

After several years of complaining to the charter, now Spectrum, about losing their cable signal on the modem (reset and reset) and losing communication several times a day, I bought this modem and voila! The only time I had problems with the internet was my ISP's fault. It's not the best device for a 2Gbps connection. If I used it that way I would probably rate it 3 stars.
