I had a Netgear Docsis 3.0 modem and liked it. Increased internet speed so I upgraded my modem to this Docsis 3.1 version to provide faster speeds. Received in the mail today, returned today. See the attached photo direct from the Cox website which shows this modem is compatible with the Cox Gigablast. However, it is NOT compatible with Cox Gigablast, straight out of the lips of a Cox employee and her manager. I called to switch to a Netgear modem but they couldn't do it. The Cox Panoramic modem doesn't fit because it's having communication issues with my Eero mesh network and I've been told I need to upgrade to a Docsis 3.1 modem if I want something different. This modem should work, but it doesn't. This isn't entirely Netgear's fault, as both they and Cox falsely advertise the capabilities of this product. If Cox wasn't the only IP in my area I would have found someone else. Anyway, one star from Netgear for falsely advertising their product.
